After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. Quickie from us: "So we actually wrote Fenech-Soler a while back with interest in working on their track ‘Magnetic,’ but we were too late it had already ran its course… Lucky for us they offered up their upcoming single ‘Last Forever’ and we loved it! We couldn’t be more excited to work with a band like Fenech-Soler, they have a great fresh sound, are working their asses off just as we are, and they have British accents, we love British accents… The only trouble of this song was the tempo. So, with that in mind we had to stretch the vocals but it actually turned out really nice over our chords. On top of that our chord work on the remix is a structure we had been playing with for a while and were very happy when the chords paired up nicely with the emotion of the song and the rest as music should, came naturally…”

One sentence to summarise his music. A music to summarise a journey. A sound to create a universe. And this EP to act as a logbook written in the calm and terrifying embrace of the cosmos. That is how we can qualify the way Dorian adopts his music or lets himself be adopted. An authentic musician far distanced from mainstream medias to find his own voice, his own touch, and always willing to surpass his own accomplishments. If we had to summarise his music, we would “only” have to say that it takes us by the gut and soothe our mind until we’re somewhere else, perhaps in outer space.

After multiple releases, Netpune went into exile with his music for a while to get the best out of it. Today, he comes back and presents an all-new opus that will surely take your breath away.

This logbook is divided in three portions like stars of a constellation he followed to come back home. The journey was not made alone since he was accompanied by the lovely voice of the English singer Clara La San. Some will be blown away and others will travel with Neptune, but the EP guarantees an unearthly experience.

Minneapolis’ Bass United Recordings teams up with local three-piece Estate for a superb new single of funk laden electronic pop backed with remixes from Dirty McKenzie, DCUP and Sloslylove… Minneapolis three piece Estate have been producing musical electronic gems for the last seven years, taking their sound on the road with the likes of Yelle, Ellie Goulding and Gigamesh and releasing three critically acclaimed albums and a host of singles. The trio are heavily influenced by an array of sounds with obvious links to 70’s and 80’s funk, soul, electro and new wave, as well as modern house and nudisco; in their own words they simply look to “make feel good music that is at home on the dancefloor or in the bedroom”. For their latest single Estate team up once again with the Bass United Recordings label, an imprint that has been pushing outstanding eclectic and electric music for the last decade. The single kicks off with the ‘Official’ version of ‘Slipstream’ a catchy and uplifting slice of disco pop that marries classic synths and rich bass with the bands distinctive vocals, quality stuff. The original version is followed by a remix from label boss Dirty McKenzie whose ‘Flutestream mix’ does what it says on the tin, delivering a delightful version that pulls together a retro 70’s disco B-line with funk guitar licks and a standout flute solo. The last of the ‘Slipstream’ mixes sees Australian producer DCUP turn in a chopped up electro influenced reworking that provides another outstanding alternative. The second ‘Official’ track comes in the shape of ‘Pressure’s On’ a soulful and laidback cut that shows Estate’s chilled side with it’s hypnotic vocoded vocals and heart stirring melodies. The original version is backed up with a mix from new US artist Sloslylove who drops a delightfully left of center reworking that utilizes fluid sounding drums and intense pads to provide a perfect soundbed for the vocal parts, sublime stuff. This is another winner from Estate and the ever excellent Bass United Recordings, enjoy!
