I've been experimenting with audio restoration, and transferring some of my archive tapes from my old Tascam PortaStudio 414 into the digital realm for remixing.  This was the first attempt - I recorded each track one at a time into StudioOne from the master cassette tape, then mixed/processed, and aligned the tracks. It was time consuming, but turned out well.  This was a live recording of my old jazz trio project with Frank Southecorvo and Ian Cunningham, using 2 microphones and a direct out from the double bass.

Digging through old, old demos and jams and found this funky gem.... Nice combo of some tight fingerstyle funk with fretless overdubs. Still playing the same combo of Lakland basses on tracks today!

An abstract jam over a drum sample that I looped and added some tracks of electric bass with a palm-muted bass line, chordal backing, and abstract musings with an EBS BassIQ envelope filter.
