"I had a vision......When putting this project together I really wanted to focus on presenting myself to the world, not just as an Artist but Marla Brown herself.

I feel my whole being stems from love, faith (Most High) and unity, so it is truly important for me to communicate that through the music I create with these amazing artists and producers, so the connection can be made and received naturally between you and I, allowing yourselves to have an insight as to who I am and what I represent.

I also wanted this project to contain the ideas and concepts of life I feel needed integral attention - to liberate (others) and create a shared consciousness to encourage growth, empowerment and love (self and universal), thus the concept “Deliverance” being born.

Deliverance truly encapsulates my being, my arrival and most importantly allows me to give thanks for this life my parents and the Most High have continued to create for me, communicating my thoughts and feelings, my experiences and hopes for a greater conscious driven world.

Although Deliverance is my concept of my "coming" into the musical world, it is indeed one of my favourite songs off of my Dad’s album, titled "Visions" (Deliverance Will Come) which made everything just fall into place that this was my calling and my purpose being fulfilled just as my Dad had visioned. He always encouraged us to love, to smile and most importantly, to be at one with ourselves and our family.....I guess the time truly has come..."DELIVERANCE Has Come."

Bryan Art represents the evolution of the reggae music brand. Bryan Art is not just a singer, he is an accomplished  musician, producer and band leader who has paid his dues for many years behind the scenes working as a guitarist in the “Fire House Crew”- {Luciano\ Sizzla}; Black Uhuru; and as Bandleader\ Guitarist, Grass Roots Band - Bushman.  
His sound is fresh and engaging, his lyrical compositions represent the tradition of reggae music,  Peace, Love, Unity and Struggle, blended with a youthful energy that brings memories of Rocksteady and Ska to the fore. The Artistry he brings to live performances is captivating and will leave fans yearning for more. It’s an awesome blend of lyrical, spiritual and musical competency, packaged expertly and complemented by a cadre of seasoned musicians who are in unison with the artist and revel in the artistry.

Bryan Art (Bryan Grant); born in Saint Ann, Jamaica. Began his solo career in 2001, his first single “Soon Come Back” attracted a lot of attention which resulted in much interest from industry insiders. In 2002 he was named best new Artist by Entertainment Report (Jamaica and Television Jamaica (TVJ)  following his signing with Chris Smith Management, which also manages Nelly Furtado and Tamia at the time. The association provided the Artist with the knowledge and determination to take his craft to to another level. Focusing on songwriting, Bryan Art penned songs for Luciano, Etana, Bushman, George Nooks, and others.
