“Other Phases Of Sleep” is Amsterdam based artist Kennedy’s first excursion beyond his ever-consistent imprint “Dream Machine”. On this EP he further explores the ethos behind his creative process he describes as - "a series of thoughts, sensations and sounds occurring from a person's mind, translated by machines."

The EP calls to mind the effervescent and driving energy of early Metroplex material while also paying homage to the Vancouver Sound and the optimistic vibe of the early 90s. Playful, sophisticated, and life-affirming dance music for those looking to uplift their mind, body, and soul. 

Pacific Rhythm alumni Space Ghost rounds out the EP with a masterful remix of “Asleep” that slows the energy down to a crawl and leans into his love of UK Street Soul and cosmic flourishes

Cultured deep house label Pulp welcomes back regular artist DaRand Land for another of his atmospheric EPs. The Vermillion Room features four sublime cuts that deal in candle-lit backroom sounds.

Hailing from Buffalo, New York, Land has been a low-key but high-class house innovator ever since the 90s. His smoky and subtle style is all about creating warm grooves detailed with musical synths and delicate percussion that sink you into a meditative state. He has been releasing on this label for a decade as well as the likes of Deep4Life and Urban Imagery and is in fine form again on this latest outing.

'Never Far From Jazz' hints at the producer's influences as he layers up dusty kicks with deft cosmic chords. More wispy leads bring a sense of mystery next to crunchy hi-hats that drive things ever further into the unknown. 'Journey For The Ready' is another brilliantly wide open and cavernous sound with smeared pads and melancholic piano chords hanging in the air, then 'Formative Funk' switches things up. This one has percolating drums and slapping hits that demand you move your body as filtered vocal sounds bring the soul.

'Remember The Violets' closes down with another signature DaRand Land groove - it's stripped back and raw as it rocks back and forth. A moody bassline adds weight while you're encouraged to gaze into the distance at the pixelated chords that bring a bittersweet sense of emotion.

DaRand Land once again taps into meaningful house depths that work on cosy dancefloors but also more intimate listening environments.

We have gathered again to present you a full body of work by Austin Bascom who goes under the moniker Abacus. The gentleman has created a lot of unique works for the people to enjoy starting from the 90’s and till this day. Recently the artist had a string of fantastic releases in our current years of 2020+ as well. This time he was kind enough to dedicate his time and effort to the dome of Sakskøbing. We witness the four deep cuts of house music in the way how deep house needs to be done in our honest opinion. Start of from “Chi-Town Stories” and the stories it brings to the ears and the mindset, straight after witnessing “Chillin’ Woman” with amazing vocals by Mz. Mosea which has been recorded in 1994, then bringing in the “Mourning Sun” and to conclude wrapping yourself under a warm blanket of “Hyggë”. I hope this work of soul and passion will bring you nice feelings as it did to us. Don’t forget to tell your loved ones that you love them. We first met Harry at Love International a few years ago and got along instantly over our similar tastes whilst seeing Vlad Ivkovic & Ivan Smagghe hold it down in the Olive Grove. 

Since then, we've kept in touch and crossed paths on various dancefloors around the country, so it's a pleasure to have him on board the series with this classy mix of cosmic sounds.

Harry is a true music head and previously worked as a programmer for Alfresco Festical, and he currently works on other projects such as Disco Disco along with his own ventures, Club Hiatus & Moon Roq.
