Pow! is another kind of high energy euro party track. For this one, I wanted to create a carefree, 100% feel good modern club track. My idea was to make a song about dancing, smiling, focusing purely on positive energy. At the heart of Pow! you find a deliberately comical 1994’ inspired Scatman style vocal riff bringing a quirky and playful twist to the groovy Y2K hard house beat. Road tested in clubs and festivals, this unabashed eurobeat-style track makes clubbers lose themselves in the joy of the moment.

ART-CHIVES presents: Hypnotic journeys & sonic rituals. 

Nigredo ouvre le bal de cette première archive avec une plongée dans l’obscurité créatrice.  Imaginez une techno hypnotique, parsemée d’éclats de trance, où la mélancolie se transforme en matière et la tension devient un rituel.  Les pulsations industrielles se mêlent à des élans plus lumineux, entre mental, ferveur et une sorte d’ascèse alchimique.  C’est un voyage qui explore le premier stade de la transformation, celui où tout se dissout pour mieux renaître.
Un clin d’œil à la gravure, à la nuit, et aux racines de la techno mentale et transcendante.

Mémoire d’une chute douce.
L’ombre n’efface pas l’éclat : elle le révèle. Nigredo, la mélancolie alchimique, ouvre la voie.

🜁 Dürer : le graveur du noir

Albrecht Dürer (1471–1528), maître absolu de la gravure, sculptait la lumière au cœur même de l’ombre. Ses cuivres et ses bois sont des visions : apocalypses, métamorphoses, symboles voilés, mélancolie en architecture. Dans le noir de la plaque naît la vérité, la première étape de toute transmutation.

🜃 Mélancolie et Génie : Aristote - le Problème XXX.I

Cette théorie philosophique, issue de l’ensemble des « Problèmes », une collection de réflexions sur la nature humaine et la médecine, pose une question intrigante : « Pourquoi tous les Hommes d’exception, philosophes, artistes, politiques, semblent-ils mélancoliques ? »

Certaines dispositions physiques, telles que l’« humeur noire » ou la « bile noire », seraient propices à la création. Le génie artistique serait intrinsèquement lié à un « déséquilibre intérieur ». Cette « humeur noire » rendrait à la fois vulnérable et capable d’atteindre les sommets de la pensée et de la création. Un excès de « bile noire » engendrerait des excès, la folie et la dépression. En revanche, une quantité adéquate favoriserait le génie, l’inspiration et la profondeur de pensée. Ce déséquilibre d’humeur serait considéré comme un moteur créatif, une tension féconde, une souffrance qui pousse à chercher, comprendre et créer.

En somme, le « Problème XXX.I » fonde une anthropologie du génie. L’exceptionnel humain naîtrait d’un déséquilibre vital, d’une tension entre folie et sagesse. « La bile noire, en effet, si elle est présente dans le corps en quantité convenable, rend l’âme pénétrante et perspicace ».
