'Discos Sentimiento‘s new EP ‚La Fragua‘ by Mexican DJ and producer Rodman reflects a refinement of their aesthetics in continuum with their previous releases – emotional electronic music from a paradisiac land.

The releases features 4 original tracks of percussive house with broken beats, lazer be- ams, intricate pads and energising rhythms; polyrhythmic patterns that reference dub and house at its finest with an intricate load of emotional synths and bubbly sounds- capes.

'La Fragua EP' emanates a woozy aura throughout its originals. On the remix bid we have 4 re-interpretations: a heavy yet emotional and ravey remix by Nico. A retro-celestial house remix by Sunday Sunday‘s resident dj, Soos. A perfectly chopped up broken beat cut by Wavawav‘s label head Ranma Entero, and a sentimentally futuristic take on 'Fuego Nuevo' by FKA Lil Tantrum.

Doubling up and further strengthening the firey latin flavour are Argentinian duo, DJs Pareja. The duo take Match Point into darker realms,  bringing the original bass melody to the fore and allowing it to purr loud. They ramp the break beats and increase the drama with claps, kick drums, horns and more, creating a warehouse mood that is crying out for smoke machines and strobe lights.

Italian STEB is no stranger to cooking up floor filling hits. For this latest offering he works with Dario Rossi, a renowned drummer with a signature style like no one else. Their 'Kauris 1979' is a beautifully deep house track with shimmering chords and twinkling melodies. Echoing claps help drive this most classy of tunes forwards under subtle vocal sounds and the whole atmosphere is full of late-night magic.

The vibrant Marvin & Guy are celebrated artists who bring colour and charm to their work on labels like Life and Death, Permanent Vacation, Correspondant and Hivern Discs. It often has a cosmic edge and that's the case here with this excellent remix. It layers in mysterious whistling leads and 80s synth sounds as well as a rasping bassline that brings a different perspective than the original. The remix has already picked up early support from The Blessed Madonna and also comes with a second timeless Marvin & Guy disco remix for the digital EP.

Feel Fly is a project that straddles worlds and scenes with influences from ambient, house and disco on top outlets like International Feel Recordings. This remix brings all that alongside some feel-good piano chords that light up a punchy nineties house bassline. It's a stylish party starter for sure. Eclectic old-school producers & musicians Van Der Kirche & THC then join forces for an expansive broken beat remix with crisp hits and silky bass all making for a sublime trip.

This is a package packed with disco-tinged grooves for late-night dance floors.

Factor city Records very happy to have Sistema back on board in the year of their 20th anniversary. He’s been a regular presence in label catalogue since the very beginning and has delivered some of the best tunes the Barcelona's ever released.
This “Lost and found” EP is another proof of his talent and unique approach to electronic dance music.
Manel Ruiz has lost many tracks during all these years. He’s an amazing but also a chaotic producer. But we are lucky as some of them have been found, restored, mixed again and mastered by the man himself for our listening pleasure. Some of these songs were made in 2003. Sonic miniatures full of little and unexpected details and textures. Pure bliss.

French artist Justine Forever joins the Human Endeavour family for the sixth release on the Ransom Note Records’ sub-label. 

Having made appearances on imprints like Ombra Internatonal, Lumière Noire, Her Majesty’s Ship and her own newly minted Club Forever label, this fresh body of work, ‘Out Of The Blue’, continues her pursuit to connect the dots between cold wave, punk and the uninhibited abandonment of dark, sweaty dance floors. 

The Rome-based producer - real name Justine Neulat - ushers us into the shadows with three propulsive, tripped-out cuts, each one more intoxicating than the last.

‘Klaus’ kicks things off, bringing an air of mystery from the get-go. Metallic synths, courtesy of Justine’s trusty MS20, glide over a ghostly ambience, which soon gives way to a crawling bass line and mystifying vocals.

‘My Blood’ follows and is just as hypnotic as its predecessor. The motorik beat is accented by resonant thuds of bass, snappy percussion and a woozy synth line that puts us all under Justine’s sonic spell.

‘Out Of The Blue’ is the most club-ready of the package. Driven by a deep, rumbling bass, the track is a masterclass in musical restraint; its stripped-back structure made all the more powerful by Justine’s skilled use of atmosphere and sound FX. 

For the first time since the label’s inception last summer, Human Endeavour bring on board two remixers to round off the release, both of whom are fellow explorers of the dark, psychedelic realms of the electronic universe. 

Hand picked by Justine herself, French producer Cate Hortl and Mexican artist Undefined Pattern reinterpret ‘My Blood’ and ‘Out Of The Blue’ respectively. The former ups the tempo placing her signature cocktail of dark pop and coldwave-tinged synths centre-stage, while the latter subtly retouches the titular track, shaping it into a pounding techno stomper that’s primed for the dance.
