Ryan Davis is an American musician, songwriter, visual artist, record collector, DIY lifer and recovering community organizer from the Southern Indiana part of Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to having performed in such acts as the Roadhouse Band, Equipment Pointed Ankh, Tropical Trash, State Champion, and others, he has continued to operate his Sophomore Lounge label since its 2007 inception, celebrating a consistently genre-spanning output of sounds (via small-run physical releases) ranging in nature from experimental country to lo-fi collage, noise punk, art rock, new age, and footwork.
