"Isaiah is a Black farmer who strives to turn an overgrown lot into an organically-grown food oasis in the middle of a vast food desert. The mission is to rehabilitate land and spirit in the community and use healthy food to forge strong bonds between the people of Bayview/HP in San Francisco. His greater wish is to inspire all at risk or neglected communities across the nation to imagine a greater future through sustainability. This project would also serve to beautify the area, and offer a sanctuary to local birds, butterflies, insects and amphibians. We hope to have a fully operational garden program by Fall 2020, and offer local schools a program to engage their youth and broaden their horizons. "
