This song is about growth. Even thought it may not feel like you are growing, you are ever-changing. Humans learn to adapt to conditions over periods of time in order to survive. This track is super special because it reminded me how much I've grown as a producer and where I can continue to improve! We all have the opportunity to grow with trust in yourself and those around you. I focused really hard on the percussion of this track and really challenged myself to think outside the box. Hope you enjoy this :)

So Long

I decided to team up with the ever so talented Scotty Bloom. We basically had an idea to create a couple different tempos for ideas for a track and landed on this one right here.

It is very surreal for me to make and release this track. I always loved hip hop and the energy of hip hop and the absolute immaculate poetry that can be brought out. I am pretty stoked to be at a level being able to outsource to my local music community where I was raised at in Wyoming and incorporate that into a bass music track. Above all, it has been rewarding.

Macklemore's song "Wing$" is about the dangers of consumerism and the search for identity through material possessions, particularly luxury sneakers. Using the symbol of Nike shoes and the "sneaker culture," the song explores how societal pressure to "fit in" and the pursuit of expensive brands can lead to a loss of self, highlighting the fleeting happiness that comes from consumption. 

This is my remix of this legendary track from a phenomenal artist I always looked up to. It’s kind of wild how I got this idea. I was at work one day and I was doomscrolling on Facebook when I came across this reel. There was a diver jumping off of a waterfall into crystal blue skies and I was like dang, that acapella would be fire to remix. So, I screen-recorded the reel, trimmed it, emailed it to my computer and uploaded the sample into my DAW. It was so cool how the idea came to life, I ripped the vocals from my favorite verse. I hope you enjoy my take.
