PulpFusion who is true veteran to the nu funk scene has brought us the title tune to this EP: Bring Back the Funk is a real breaker in the most classic sense. This jam should is calling for all the break-dancers to take over the dancefloors!

Last but not least DJ Throwback is doing just that by bring us back to the days of blues on his massive oldskool jam: The Hook.

If you are a techno person and you listen deeply into this music you will hear the beginnings of one side of my inspiration to make electronic dance music.  This is the music I grew up listening to.  When I hear some of the reactions from some of my American brothers.. musically they actually thought I was living around the corner from them - which I was, musically. It's funny, we could have almost communicated the same then as you can online now through music. Brothers if you are reading this - don't forget it - we still have an open line of communication. 11 contestants from the last battle [Bob James "Nautilus"] are competing against each other once again... Same exact rules as the last one, except this time they must flip the infamous Bob James song "Take Me To The Mardi Gras". The winner, once again, takes home my copy of Bob James "Two" on wax.

This is a project that I was asked to do I guess sometime in the early 2000's . It was a remix for a Bob James project . the idea was to take an existing piece of work and flip it . So this was my flip . I had Pete Miser come in and do some vocal snippets . I never knew what happened to the project but I did put a lot of work into this mix so I figured I would share it .
