The LARP Council UK is an invented podcast which allows the Live Action Role Playing community in the UK to hear what scenarios other groups are playing out, and from other players.

This episode we join the Regency-style players of the group Masquerades and Massacres as they meet for their latest event in an old Victorian hotel on an isolated hill overlooking the Peak District. Described as 'Jane Austen with aliens, werewolves, monsters and magic', the creator and controller of the scenario Bunny explains how the game evolved. The players also tell us how they've developed their characters, and explain the role Live Action Role Play has in their lives. We also get to experience the game play itself, as the characters play out their imaginative and magical plots.

Quilting is a craft which not only has been passed through generations for its practical uses, it brings communities together over a cherished hobby.

Sentimental value is attached to the work Quilters create, and we hear from the ladies creating it. A local Quilting group in South London relate how the craft has changed their lives, such as bringing them new skills, friends and comfort.

With a First Class Honours degree in Radio Production from the University of Westminster, I know that a career in radio is my goal. I am interested in all types of radio, but am especially fond of creating and listening to speech radio, from documentaries to factual reporting to drama and interviews. This page showcases some of the pieces I have made. My other major project is working as part of the team of Stand Up Tragedy, which is a live variety night which brings talent together to perform something tragic. We record each event, and from that I broadcast a weekly podcast.
