Written on the sunny beaches of Okinawa, Japan." Kisses in the Sand" is about a couple falling in love with each other again. The man realizing how he has changed and wants his partner to share this adventure of life together in paradise.  I fell in love with Okinawa upon arrival and as my wife and I sat on the beach, this song came to me in 5 minutes.  I hope you get the same images I did when listening to "Kisses in the Sand."

Oh how I miss the old days. Smoking in NZ, chillin with my friends. Hanging out on Ponsonby Rd with Stacey. Those days we would go up to the Batch and have a full day of wide eyed adventure. Sweet Mary I can't fight those urges.

Ohara Flys is a solo project 2 years in the making. I'm from New Zealand, and am the former singer for Jungle Fungus. Living in Japan, teaching Judo and English. Did a 3 year degree at the New Zealand performing Arts School. Love life in Okinawa, the sun and beaches, Japanese beer and food.
