Bryson Bmoney Jenkins was raised in Plainfield, NJ. Bryson attended Plainfield High School where he found his passion for the stage and music. In 2002 Bryson decided that he wanted to pursue a music career. That same year he enrolled in an after school program called Y.E.A (Youth. Entertainment. Academy) and wrote his first original song called “KOOL-AID”.  Bryson later went on to open up for the Funkadelics and performed on Showtime at the Apollo. In 2003, he won best male vocalist at Newark Symphony Hall then in 2004 and was crowned the Plainfield Idol.
Not shortly After he auditioned for the American IDOL. Though they loved his voice, according to the judges, America wasn’t ready for another “Ruben Studdard”. He was 6 feet tall and at that time weighed over 400 pounds.  Not much longer after that he was diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure and sleep apnea. Devastated with the doctor’s diagnosis  but not broken Bryson found his Outlet in his community and local church. He became addicted with the rush live music provided and began leading choirs and singing all over New Jersey.
 
In 2007, he started working with a production team called Phantom Boyz, now under Warner Bros Records, in hopes of starting a career in songwriting. With the added stress of trying to make it in the music industry, Bryson's health continued to decline and by 2009, Bryson gained over 90 pounds and suffered a mild heart attack and was faced with making the biggest decisions of his life, for his life. January 2011 Bryson underwent gastric bypass surgery by one of the most well respected surgeons for bariatric surgery and lost 232 pounds in 14 months. After the weight loss his music began to get better as well as his vocal abilities improved with strength and new added confidence. Bryson relocated to Atlanta GA where he established new relationshis and is currently working with a 5x Grammy award winning team on his upcoming releases in Summer 2017 including “All 4 Me” slotted to release in July. Bryson Creates music with influences such as Usher, Musiq, Jill Scott, Deborah Cox, Dru-hill and Tank. Every day he dreamt of singing on tracks with A-list producers like Rodney Jerkins, Neptunes, Timbaland, Missy Elliot, Rich Harrison and Brian Michael Cox.
