I don't usually put descriptions on my songs anymore but this one is an exception.

The cover art of this beat tape actually comes from art pieces I made during primary school. I came across them when I was clearing out some old things that were taking too much space and I found my end-of-the-year report cards. Each of them said that I was already a creative child with attention to detail and that my art skills had a lot of potential, with the same thing for music. I find it fascinating that my teachers already saw something in me even though I don't remember a single thing, and I probably only gained true sentience at around 11 years old.

I'm now finishing university and seeing how far I've come as a visual creative, audial creative, and as a person never ceases to humble me. Thank you all for everything.

We remember when we first heard this track on JuSoul's 'ROCK BOTTOM' release & instantly fell in love. J Dilla's 'Think Twice' is one of our favorite tracks of all time by Dilla so when we heard this it hit us right in the chest. 

JuSoul is all the way from Germany and it's very inspiring to hear him create future-soul music. With all the new forms & different sounds coming out in the world, it honestly feels great to hear someone still creating this style of sound. Look out for JuSoul to drop an EP with us in the future. Not to mention he has a track on the Soulection Compilation Vol. II.
