What a mystery, yet true felicity! (O Trinity of eternity!)

This song was very fun and enjoyable to write. I tried not to give too much attention to Satan though. He doesn't deserve our attention, saints. Enjoy the Lord Jesus.

(I had to sing stanza 4's chorus different because I messed up the guitar chords. What you hear at that part is not how it's supposed to be sung.)

Satan’s going to the lake of fire.
He was Lucifer, God’s right hand man,
Leading praises to the One who’s higher,
Until he wished to be as high as Him.

	Ascend to heav’n above the stars of God,”
	Lucifer, you’ll be brought down to Sheol,
	And ultimately to the lake be brought.

Satan’s going to the lake of fire.
He was sentenced by the Son of Man.
Jesus crucified the crucifier.
And now he scrambles to delay God’s plan,
	‘Cause he knows that he’s on borrowed time,
	Nearer, nearer, execution comes.
	Once the Lord sees us mature, His bride,
	Satan’s days of pow’r on earth are done.

Satan’s al’rdy in the lake of fire.
Claim the fact with God’s eternal view.
Don’t be stuck in time, our view is higher.
The word of God is all we need as proof.
	Hallelujah! I can see him there!
	Suff’ring for all that he’s done to me!
	Sin and death, deceitful empty cares-
	All sinking with him in the flaming deep.

Satan, jump into the lake of fire!
And while you’re at it, hold my blood-washed sins;

The living and abiding Word (1 Pet. 1:23)
The guileless milk, the bread of life (2 Pet. 2:22, John 6:35)
The Bible is the word of truth
And the truth shall set you free (John 8:32)
Sweeter than honey to my mouth (Psalm 119:103), 
Praises to God we sing and shout (Psa 33)
for the Word of God!

The Bible is a precious gift
The persecuted had to hide
To have the Word, they risked their lives 
Worth more than anything the world can provide 

The Bible has the pow’r to change
Man’s behavior, life anew, 
We live because of Jesus Christ,
When we eat Him through the Word as our food (John 6:57)

Sing to the Lord, a new song,
For He has done marvelous things. (Psa 98:1)
When He commanded, it was so (Psa 33:9)
The heavens and the earth were made by what He spoke (Psa 33:6)

In the darkness of the night,
Sailing on a stormy ocean,
With no hope or peace in sight,
On a churning, gloomy sea.
Amidst the wind and waves, what do I see?
It’s a Man who walks above the waves to me.
And He said,

	“It is I.
	It is I. Don’t be afraid.

	A harbor, warm and safe.
	Just open up your heart.
	I am the way.”

All the troubles in my life
Make me feel like I’m surrounded,
Countless problems, pain, and strife,
