With his smooth, melodic and jazzy house, it’s no surprise that Soul Wun’s Spotify Wrapped tells us that his music was streamed 130+ thousand times in 90 different countries. With releases on 13th Hour, Houseum, Slothboogie and with support from Disclosure, Cinthie, Jesse Bru and so on… Soul Wun is a quietly rising producer worth watching. As a selector, expect a more club heavy texture, unless the sun is up.

We have another excellent episode of Bside Incoming for you!

Made in London by two good friends and flat mates bouncing off each other's Bside selections. Digging through the very finest of the flip side we have Jake and Benjamin, AKA 1-800 Girls and Par Avion.

With a background in New Wave bands and a renown for high octane DJ sets, 1-800 Girls' productions usually sit somewhere between the two. The nostalgic warmth of hardware productions and the hard hitting energy that often defines his dance floor selections.

Par Avion is a selector who runs a collective and imprint by the same name, as well as the Mutual Trust events with Salary Boy. With a passion for intelligent dance music, a keen ear for great audio, and an impressive music collection: The two combine for a Bside Back2Back that has all the intimacy of a listening session with fellow music lovers.

Expect everything from deep and soothing electronica through to vibrant house and disco edit, soul, funk, acid, afro, breakbeats and everything in between.

It is a safe bet to say that the Londonian duo Krywald & Farrer (a.k.a. K&F) needs no introduction. The story began when Ed & Jack first casually met in the mystical little party hidden in the middle of the woods as they have been both Gottwood regulars since day one. In 2012, Percolate nightclub became the breeding ground for their fertile relationship as they officially decided to join forces there. Actually, those guys embody what going B2B quintessentially means or, in other words, the art of polymerizing two entities to bring a tastier and stronger one to life. As lifetime residents there, they have invariably been aiming to throw unpretentious parties where having fun defines the main focus, while keeping high-profile line-ups (Peach, Hunee, Midland or Leon Vynehall) all along the journey. When it comes to production and DJing, K&F feel free not to stick to one genre and tirelessly explore warm old afro, latin, jazz, disco and house grooves. Through their PERSIES, REPSIES and Top Pocket Records labels, they make it a point of honour to rework a selection of beloved gems from the past to unaffectedly turn them into contemporary and party-inclined tunes. 

Today, Krywald & Farrer are unmistakably serving up a high-tempo dancey house mix that takes us back to longer nights sweating on the dance floor. The jams from Mandar, Jad & The or Low Tape are exactly what you need on quarantined days like these. Get comfy, press play and enjoy!

Introducing Swiss producer/dj Ground16 for his first solo ep on vinyl! The first two tracks on A-side are groovy house tracks, with warm chords and sneaky acid bass lines. The third track is a chilled down hip-hop instrumental, with trippy synth melodies accompanied with deep string to carry you along the ride. On the B-side Ground16 finishes with a heavy electro banger, which will surely get the dance floor going. Nachtbraker totally flipped ‘Absurdity’ into a solid trippy remix with influences from breakbeat and liquid dnb.

'By the early sixties, the song on the A-side was the 'hit' song that the record company wanted radio stations to play. The B-side would contain less radio friendly and less popular tracks. In our eyes the B-side is a true reflection of the producers taste in music, there is more personality on that side of the record'.
