Raised in a small town on the outskirts of Manchester, he first cut his teeth playing drums in hardcore and metal bands before discovering the raw power of electronic music. This deep-rooted fascination with rhythm continues to shape his sound, as does a lasting obsession with sci-fi, horror and immersive world-building.

Mercy System’s releases have landed on labels such as Voitax, Of Paradise, Different Intel, MELD, Miracle Drug, and More Cowbell, consistently pushing a bold and forward-thinking aesthetic. His work has garnered support and airplay on Rinse FM, BBC Radio 6 Music, Ilian Tape Podcast, The Lot Radio, Keep Hush, and more—earning a reputation for fusing underground grit with sonic precision.
