Johan Vilborg is not only a major contributor to our Silk Royal division, but also now a permanent co-host of our weekly Silk Royal Showcase radio show. Frequently featured on radio by the international DJ elite, Johan has quickly become a household name in the world of trance & progressive. We're excited to present two brand new remixes of a pair of classics by the Swedish star: "Second Wind" and "Altara".

First up, Silk veteran and dear friend to our imprint, Dezza, offers a euphoric take on "Second Wind". A chunky groove -- progressive house in the "classical" tradition -- is soon met by the joyful lead theme, now infused with gorgeous pad and piano layers. In the main break, Johan's original lead coalesces triumphantly with Dezza's numerous melodic layers. This is a glorious take that will make your heart sing.

Andrew Benson is a well-known Russian artist, who has contributed to numerous top tier progressive labels in recent years. We're delighted to present his Silk debut: a deep rendering of one of Johan's most famous songs, "Altara". His interpretation pays homage to the retro 80s sound, including a funky groove and "neon-tinged" synths. The main vocal theme appears in the main break, soaring above the vintage, head-bopping bassline. Fans of the current deep and 80s house revival will not be disappointed by Andrew's inspired take.
