Hi Music lovers,

“Ladies of The Canyon” is a new set inspired by the Joni Mitchell songbook in which I will propose on a trimestral basis this soundtrack full of Westcoast and Soul music (you can also call it Yacht Soul as they said ), for the Pacific Summer Sound website members.
In this 1st set, the mood is clearly "laidback and relax".
I have selected a blend of both rare, or lesser known, and also some classic tracks, that I have carefully beatmatched. 
As some of them are old Vinyls, initially recorded at a time the beat was frequently fluctuating, the mixing for those could have been hot to manage; but at the end you get a live set with track versions that you wouldn’t find anywhere else.

“Ladies of The Canyon” est un nouveau set inspiré par le répertoire de Joni Mitchell dans lequel je proposerai chaque trimestre une bande musicale colorée Westcoast et Soul pour les membres de Pacific Summer Sound.
Pour ce premier set l’orientation définie est "Laidback".
J’ai sélectionné un mélange de morceaux à la fois rares, ou moins connus, et aussi quelques classiques que j’ai soigneusement mixés sur le tempo. 
Étant donné que certains sont des vieux Vinyls, initialement enregistrés à une période où le tempo n’était pas stable, le mixage a été compliqué à gérer, mais au bout du compte vous avez un set Live avec des versions que vous ne pourrez retrouver nulle part ailleurs.
