Brandon Hodges, also known as B Tha One, is a new and upcoming artist hailing from the Capitol city of Texas, Austin. Originally from San Diego, CA., B Tha One's diverse style of musical creativity ranges from Hip-Hop, Rap, Trap, EDM, R&B, and Freestyle. B Tha One has always had a passion for making music at a young age and has continued to develop his style throughout the years. Starting 2010 to 2014, B Tha One was in a 2 man group releasing freestyles and a few original songs on youtube. After garnishing a couple million view on youtube, he was flown out to New York to meet with Island Def Jam's V.P. and even though he was not signed, B Tha One continued to work hard to reach success. The group didn't see eye to eye and in 2014 they split and that is when B Tha One started pursuing his solo career. In the short time since hitting the scene B Tha One has already hyped up audiences across the state, opening for well-known artists such as; 2chainz, Riff Raff, Kirko Bangz, Big Krit, DJ Drama, Trae Tha Truth, and a few others. His first single "Focused" released in August 2014, landed on Pandora Radio in only 6 months after it's debut. That is a big accomplishment for any indie artist in today's music industry. Now his second single "I Get It" is landing on Pandora Radio and he has 4 other big singles on the rise. B Tha One is new to the game but his passionately powerful sound has garnered a following of over 95,000 Twitter followers and thousands of views/downloads from Itunes, soundcloud, and other music download sites. B Tha One spits tunes with a unique style of rapping and harmonizing, and pins his artistry with authenticity staying real to who he is and how he feels. For now, B Tha One can be found on twitter, instagram, youtube and many other social networks and music websites. B Tha One has exploded onto the scene in less than a year and you can expect him to release plenty of big music and continue to grow as an artist over the years to come.
