I am delighted to present legendary American DJ and producer, hailing from Chicago, Mr. Robert Armani https://soundcloud.com/djrobertarmani

Robert Armani needs no introduction whatsoever. He was one of the first international techno DJs I saw play live in Dublin (The Kitchen) back in the late nineties. I had the poster for the event on my wall for years, so to say I am a fan is an understatement.

Most everyone will know Robert Armani from his classic releases on Dance Mania records - CIRCUS BELLS (famously remixed by Hardfloor) and AMBULANCE being up there at the top of any list.

As well as Dance Manie, he has a slew of releases on loads of labels including Alternative Current also known as ACV Records, an Italian Experimental Techno-label.

His track Hit Hard was re-released on vinyl in 2022 on Music Man records and hits just as hard today as it did when first released.

Another lobster live set lands in the shape of Farbwechsel label head and all round purveyor of ambient, dubby, raw electronic vibes, S Olbricht. Set over a 51 minutes single take, the live set digs down through layers of skittering, moody electronics with ambiguously oscillating pads, crystalline synthesisers and effluent-drenched dirty drum work that segues between muffled, drowned kicks and almost classically-recorded toms. Themes explored and quickly discarded, only to reappear in new forms. The real stuff.

Revel in the magic of the mesmerizing closing set that @david-vunk laid down on the 10th of May 2019. He was more than happy to share this recording with you all to keep the memories and positive energy alive.

As David began with his mix the dance floor was dark and smokey, but while he was playing the sun slowly started to rise and his set ended in broad daylight.
