🗯🗯 How do you make use of technology? 🗯🗯

I always check for new Vst and read a lot in magazines and forums about new inventions. For me I always try to combine analog and digital gear. I also like to watch tutorials about music production and try to learn new stuff constantly. I think there is always progression and lots of ways to improve my skills. 

🗯🗯 Did your approach on creating music change during the pandemic and did it maybe even influence your style? 🗯🗯

Since I dont have the possibility to play as often as I used to before Covid I dont have the chance to roadtest my new productions and it takes longer for me to finish a track. I cant listen on big club speakers and dont get the reaction of the crowd so its just me or some friends that decide wether the track is dope or not and what needs to be changed. I also started to work on some softer tracks that arent particular for the dancefloor.

🗯🗯 What’s your favorite drink while being behind the decks in the Club? 🗯🗯

I prefer Skinny Bitch or a cold Beer

Reykjavík born, half Spanish dj and producer Bjorn Salvador began his dj’ing career at a young age, exploring all corners of both House and Techno music.

As time passed Bjorn got more and more involved in the Techno scene in Reykjavík. He performed on many big name events in Reykjavík through the years with artists like Dubfire, Carl Craig, Christian Smith, David Holmes, Gabriel & Dresden, Thomas Krome, Omid 16b just to name a few.

When Bjorn got into music production, he went more into the deep, organic and melodic side of House music.

In 2020 he started his own label, Nordic Voyage Recordings with Leon S. Kemp. Bjorn and Leon also host their weekly show named after the label on Proton Radio.

It's really hard to describe what happened that day, after 40h of travelling, I finally got to El Sitio Venao, 30mn before my NYD sunrise set, the vibe was exquisite, full of love and excitement, the setting was one of the most beautiful thing in the world, I went all in, took them on a journey, and well... This set happened 😍 Playa Venao always delivers, it was a moment out of time and I'm honored and humbled to present it to you. Play loud, share it with love to the world and enjoy it to the fullest 😘

No matter if playing live or compiling a mix, Floloco, or Florian with his real name, strives to create something whole. The result is hard to pigeonhole as he moves across genres although never losing his signature theme: an intense ride through electronic music; cinematic, dramatic, yet never missing that particular groove. 

The electronic music enthusiasts has his own show “Sonorous” on Frisky radio and runs Schirmchendrink, the globally regarded brand with delicious “cocktails” of underground electronic music (and, admittedly, an incredibly hard-to-pronounce name). The original concept just celebrated its 200th episode anniversary past December. 

Together with his good friend, Benoit, Florian is further part of the deep electronica duo Gimérique. After founding Schirmchendrink together in 2016, they today work in tandem to bring dreamy electronic music into the air with releases on labels such as Sound Avenue or Harabe Recordings.

Joe Miller is an English-born beatmonger, influenced in equal measure by heaving clubs and the earthy melancholy of forests. He grew up in Australia, where he learned to craft sets that are whimsical and left-field, evoking a sense of place.

With well over a decade's worth of DJ experience, Russian artist Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats has been a fixture of her country's nightlife, sharing the stage with Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren, Yotto, Dave Seaman and more. Christina's production debut landed three years ago via 8bit Music, and in relatively short order the Russian artist has gone on to release projects via Lane 8's This Never Happened, Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Juicebox Music and Mango Alley. Now adding Sound Avenue to her resume, Forty Cats debuts on the label with a heady rendition of ‘Dreaming Home'.

HOLTOUG is a grateful explorer of transformative experiences with music, sound and visuals, seeking to create uplifting modalities to soothe the body, mind and spirit with the project AYAWAKE.

As HOLTOUG he was an integral part of the Danish underground scene for more then a decade, especially loved for a string of highly successful edits.

With releases on respected labels such as Iboga, Connaisseur Recordings, and Hfn Disco, and gigs on some of the most iconic festivals all over europe HOLTOUG was well on his way as one to watch on the European up and coming scene.

Then something unexpected happened…

In 2015 he was fortunate enough to experience heavenly musical dream visions under expanded states of consciousness facilitated by deep meditation and herbal medicine which forever changed his entire world view as well as his artistic direction.

With AYAWAKE it is his hope and intention to share as much of this otherworldly
inspiration as possible, and simultaneously create a vibrant collaborative community consisting of international prominent torchbearers and innovators of world musical and spiritual tradition and forward thinking eco-conscious electronic pioneers.

May Cosmic Consciousness, Universal Love & Eternal Bliss transmute through these deliberate selections of frequencies, and aid and inspirere wherever needed for the benefit of all beings on all planes of existence.
