We are talking with https://soundcloud.com/jensen-interceptor aka Mikey Melas - uplifting soul, DJ and producer from Australia. He has been releasing singles since 2012, his energy rocketed with releases through Boys Noize and Sheffield’s Central Processing Unit (CPU) labels and numerous cool collaborations. His sound is combined from electro tradition influenced by the greats - Kraftewerk & Detroit sound - and modern edge, pop twists, moving dancefloor beats. His tracks has been picked up by many of the biggest DJs while sets played by Jensen Interceptor himself are delightful too.

Also, we recommend you explore his amazing art and visuals, often working in collaboration with @herrensauna. Definitely one of the artists to keep an eye on in the scene! CRUDE’s 100th mix edition has something extremely thrilling cooking up for this special occasion >> 3 industry heavyweights that are super unique in style and their artistic and musical direction, yet sooo in sync when it comes to flow and combining their individual approaches  - DJ SPIT, CcC and FIBER’s  special studio session for CRUDE’s 100th mix anniversary resulted in a total package of sassiness, swag, attitude and high voltage kick drums with UK infused breaks melting into thundering and rattling Hard Dance explosives.

Their selection epitomises the excitement of diving into different genres, thinking outside the box and pushing the boundaries by combining unconventional elements and styles.

The name “Verteiler” refers to their newly founded record label - VERTEILER - stay tuned for more exciting news!!! ;))

Very fitting that when we celebrate 100K plays in 2021 we come across this party animal: Eclecticism is the keyword when it comes to the musical taste of LUZ1E. Based on her love of harsh drums, weird bleeps and bouncy basslines, she interweaves dark Electro with complex Breaks, Bass, Techno and the occasional dreamy bop.

Born and raised in Frankfurt she quickly developed a keen interest in electronic music when her brother introduced her to early House music. Inspired by the dance sound of Detroit, Chicago, New York and the UK she translates diverse sonic influences into her sets and productions released under labels such as
Lobster Theremin, Shall not Fade, International Chrome and Voitax, building a bridge between classic tunes and new sounds combining them into a notion of
Futuretroism.

Sharing stages with D.Dan, Mama Snake, Innershades, IMOGEN and in two weeks an insane B2b with Cyan85 joining the likes of Mall Grab &The Advent at OXI, so be sure to check that out.

Two years since their first compilation, Herrensauna returns with a double 12-inch V/A showcasing eight crucial artists from the global underground.
For their second release, the Berlin-based label and queer collective look to the forefront of experimentalism in electronic music, connecting the dots between producers of varying backgrounds to provide an aesthetic statement of intent.
Driving percussion, drilling offbeats, and eerie soundscapes paint an intense picture of Herrensauna’s own events - for which they regularly collaborate with other collectives - whilst also looking outward for inspiration.
A droning, distortion-soaked new track by Kenyan Nyege Nyege resident Slikback sits alongside a maximalist electro remix of Georgian resident Salome by DJ Stingray 313, whilst Colombian producer Verraco offers up a euphoric, percussive rework of Merino and Greece’s DJ Loser + Malafama offer up a syncopated, multi-genre new cut for the peak hours.
By prioritising freedom of expression, the compilation serves as an inspiring example of collaboration beyond genre restraints, and a documentation of some of the most innovative producers of the moment.
