I forgot to upload this remix I did for Hex Wolves on Component Recordings. If you really listen to Hex Wolves, you hear these complex ever-changing sequences and complementing palettes of sound. What I love about remixing is peeling the composition onion and uncovering gems. One sound to our ears is layers of timbres under the stems microscope. There was this lovely & eerie hidden pad that invoked memories from this horror film that till this day is fascinating to me. I decided to apply this pad in the end which also prompted me to capture a sample from that movie. A perfect match. Can you guess which movie🎧?
