Sydney duo Mind Over Matter return with new single ‘What They Say’ – featuring the vocal talents of hip hop stalwarts Bliss N Eso.

Recorded locally at Nelson’s Bay and mixed by Craig Bauer (Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West) in Chicago the track has a truly international sound and is taken from the band’s forthcoming third album set for release later this year.

Bliss N Eso are long time touring buddies and friends of Mind Over Matter and will also star in the upcoming video.

Mind Over Matter are Willow AKA Rowan Lockyer and Smiles AKA Martin Brown. After meeting as year 7 classmates in the school yard at St Pius X College, the duo began practicing their freestyle skills together and have been putting in the hard yards ever since.

The duo have toured with some of Australia’s best hip hop talent including Bliss N Eso, 360, Pez and Drapht. Renowned for their narrative wit and smooth moves, Mind Over Matter’s dynamic live shows consistently win them new fans.

The upcoming album also features triple J airplay smash and lead single ‘Real Life’. With vocals by Melbourne singer K.I.K.I, the single peaked at #8 on the iTunes Hip Hop charts in 2013.
