EFT  (Encontro Fora do Tempo) is a festival supported by different underground collectives since 2005, heading for the 20th anniversary edition in 2025.

The festival is attended by around 200 people and runs from Friday to Sunday and has a "single-dance-floor" concept, where different genres are played throughout the weekend.
 
Different genres such as Downtempo, Indie Dance, Brazilian Music, Techno, House, Psytrance and subgenres. In parallel, there are some workshops related to music production, yoga, handicrafts, conversation groups and so on. So there are lots of things to do, just like at a big festival, but we're at a small one.

For me, it still has a special meaning because it was the very first event I played at...19yrs ago...

Filling in for the Boat House resident Neil Homer.  A 5 hour journey covering many styles playing from 4pm to 9pm.  Playing background music in a really cool new restaurant in Swanwick Marina.  Roll on summer time for some more fun times at this spot by the sea water.  One couple came in and sat near me.  He came over saying he was shazaming every track but wanted to know what one of them was that shazam couldn't find.  He said he was loving it and only came in for one drink and stayed for 3 hours right until i finished.  The food looked amazing and the smells from peoples meals kept me hungry all night.  After that i dashed home and went out to a friends engagement party in Southampton.
