I made this beat for a video showcasing the (reverse) emulation of the Akai MPC Live's "Vintage Effects" on the orginal machines: Akai MPC60, Akai MPC3000 & the E-mu SP1200. 'Reverse' in the sense that the effect on the MPC Live is an effect, an emulation seeking to make the sample sound as if processed by one of these vintage samplers. In the spirit of "Stay At Home," I've sampled different components to these three machines and assembled them on the Akai MPC2500 in order to program and sequence the beat.

The push for this video came from PEK AG: they've just posted the PEK challenge, asking to demonstrate one's creativity AT HOME. Well, mine is less creative than nerdy, but what the heck..
