Great buildup to soaring guitar awesomeness!

Bloody hell, jaw on floor ! Superb song and performance, big powerful piano, nice drums and soloing that I haven't heard the likes of since Savatage's Gutter Ballet era. Impressive.

The begining and end are my favorite parts of the song, the piano part is eerie and cool.

ROCKSTAR (feat. Roddy Ricch)

Derek Buddemeyer (budd-ē-myer) is a hard rock guitarist/instrumental musician born in Kansas City, Missouri.  Musical influences include George Lynch (Dokken/Lynch Mob), Warren DiMartini (RATT), Reb Beach (Winger), and Vito Bratta (White Lion).  Although his roots are heavily saturated in a tangled web of 80's/90's glam-metal...he also incorporated a heavier sound to his playing influenced by bands such as Anthrax, Overkill, Testament, Metallica, & Megadeth.

      Throughout the years, Derek has developed his own style of melodic hard rock, filled with edgy, pop-metal guitar rhythms, emotional soloing, and the occasional piano/synth-based ballad.

     Derek is currently working as a studio musician, music producer, and music app developer for use with iPhone/iPad devices with a new album due for release soon.
