For over a decade, Scott Sterling has been weaving rhythm, melody, and line as Drumspyder, exploring the Heathen and Celtic old ways in vital contemporary expressions.

He brings a deep love of rhythm to his distinctive style of percussion-driven dance music.  An expert percussionist specializing in tamborines and framedrums, he weaves together intricate hand percussion and bass-heavy production into finely sculpted grooves, equally inspirational to the dancefloor and the on-stage performer. Drawing inspiration from the Folk, Medieval, and Renaissance music of the British Islands and Europe, his music is a unique alchemy of musical  traditions, energetic tribal rhythms, and pagan atmosphere.

As a  visual artist, he is developing an intricate and elegant style of painting, ink drawing and vector design. He is inspired by Celtic Insular, Viking and Medieval Gothic styles, and brings them into the present age to illuminate themes of the Heathen and Celtic spiritual traditions.

An incredible festival, an incredible dance: In the late night steamy heat of the Costa Rican rainforest we Invoked the sacred through sonic alchemy and surrendered to the divine.  This set was the culmination of everything I strive for on the ecstatic dance floor - in the amorphously porous container of a festival a multi genre, tempo-twisted offering of deep groove and penetrating cadence elastically stretched the potential for expression over 108 minutes of unpredictable storytelling as each dancer exploded into the hyper-nowness of being.

DRAGONFLY - SPIRIT CATCHER @ ENVISION FESTIVAL ECSTATIC JUNGLE DANCE 2023

Rhythm Sanctuary is Colorado's largest sustained ecstatic dance experience. This ritual dance happens every Thursday from 7-9:30PM at the Sons of Italy, located at 5925 32nd Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO. Buddha Bomb performs there on a regular basis, this was his set in November of 2018. It was a beautiful night as participants danced with alacrity!

made of metal pulled from Earth,
forged in fire born of a song nearly forgotten,
was once a sword was once a shovel was once a glimmering deposit we knew to leave be to feed the trees to feed us.

Hate obliterates all of us, and our descendants. 
Force without wisdom is only destruction.
People taken or pushed off their lands survived through songs carrying codes carrying prayers that one day a future us would remember and reweave the tattered tapestry.

How do we unravel the stories that bind us and lies that define us?
How do we repair the bridges that wind us into the spiral of irrational eternity?
How do we renew the world?
We owe the future nothing less than our full commitment to interdependent freedom.

Re-Imagine @ Muse Dance Virtual 6/14/2020

Buddha Bomb was born in our Solar System on the planet Neptune. Meanwhile, at the same time on Earth, it was the 22nd day of February. Friday afternoon. Quarter past 5. Just in time for Happy Hour.

Buddha Bomb was born a Pisces in the Year of the Water Dragon.

A direct descendant of the great god Neptune, Buddha Bomb left that planet for Worldly pursuits. Buddha Bomb quickly became disillusioned with our World.  Earth was good, although a little flat. Something was missing and Buddha Bomb was determined to find it.

Early in life, at the tender age of 8 Earth years, Buddha Bomb questioned authority, asking if God existed or not.  After being told that God doesn't want him to think such things, Buddha Bomb reasoned thusly: If there is no God, then there is no Supreme Being to prevent Buddha Bomb's thinking process. Or, if there is a Supreme Being, Creator of the entire Universe, then He must be a Big enough God to allow Buddha Bomb such thoughts. In both cases, Buddha Bomb opened up.

Two years later, Buddha Bomb made the Universe disappear. Having seen his reflection in the Vast Expanse of Nothingness, the Universe arose again. His journey continued inward, and deeper. Living the life of an American Hippie, Buddha Bomb experienced just about everything Imaginable, and many things Unimaginable.

Buddha Bomb traded long hair and a beard for Buddhist teachings and a meditation cushion. After meditating in Holy places for many years, his heart and mind were open. Buddha Bomb heard Techno Music with the power to transform consciousness. Buddha Bomb's calling became louder.

[b]Did Buddha Bomb find what was missing on planet Earth?[/b]
