It's winter break and I just downloaded Garageband so I'm teaching myself how to use it to record and make some cool sounds at the same time. I'm challenging myself to make one piece per day for 14 days, and hopefully by the end this will all be really fun to look back on!

Process:
The background riff for this has been in my head for a while. I first recorded the guitar parts through my laptop's mic, then put a basic drum beat on top. Originally I sang the lyrics to Green Day's Give Me Novocaine but ended up with Drake's Take Care instead after it popped into my head and I liked how it contrasted with the rest of the music. Then I sang Rihanna's part and put a 'monster' filter over it (you can hear it in the background around 0:50). Enjoy!
