Folic State's music explores the tension between light and dark, formulating expansive soundscapes among warm, driving percussion. In late 2019 he was handpicked by techno icon Dubfire as one of the finalists of the SCI+TEC mentoring competition. Over the years, his sound has reached the epitome of abstract sophistication. The Ep is a package of four smashing originals and three remixes. On remix duties, we would like to welcome Damien Fisher with a minimal monster. The second remixer is no other than our psychedelic specialist Dr. Breger who drops another bomb. Last but not least, our chef Ash Roy spins out a trippy story. The Gods Planet welcomes Pattrn for the 9th episode of the Radio Universe series. With 5 diverse and intense compositions, this EP unfolds solid grooves and roaring bass-lines, with both subtle and overt melodic hooks.

Beyond the years of technical know-how and self improvement in production, DJing, and live sets,  Brice Deloose aka Pattrn has been an active member of the Brussel's scene for quite some time. Cocreator of FTRSND, Brussels By Night Federation, Initiate, as well as having been the artistic director of Fuse club, Pattrn has spent much of his time promoting local artists and collectives to push forward Brussels' underground.

His track, “Stevia” is an ode to music producer Steevio and his signature style melodies. This track is all about the complex addition of hypnotic melodies, held together by a pulsating bass-line and a four to the floor kick drum.

After a long break, hamburg based records label „Geistzeit“ is back with a new release by the melodic genius „aacht“. After two successful free downloads on deep stories, we are happy to present the talented producer Shahin on Deep Stories Records. His EP ‘5 Years’ gives a diverse sound that lets you dream and makes you want to dance. The first track is ‘Everest’ and shows the direction of the EP - upwards. The bassline frames the melody und guides us up the first meter, until we break through the clouds with ‘Through Clouds and Dust’ and feel the sun on our skin. This track, with its quiet sound will make you stop for a while and enjoy the moment. After a short moment of quiet, the intensive claps and the sawtooth wave will guide you to the climax. The more we climb, the more our heartbeat accelerates until pure energy shoots through our body and we see a mysterious creature on the top of the hill. Those energetic feelings are picked up by the track ‘The Caveman’ and the driving bassline forms the end of this brilliant EP.

Classically trained from the age of 9 and picked up his first electronic music record at the age of 13, BMT or better known as Buddha's Mind Trick started off by messing around with the decks at various underground parties throughout Kuala Lumpur. 

Having a plethora of musical influences all throughout his journey helped him shape what is known today among his enthusiasts as the "sound of BMT". BMT orchestrates a musical journey that breaks away from the typical genre classification, paying tribute to his biggest influence - John 00 Fleming. 

Music has no form, nor does it have boundaries as it transcends and evolves through time. While Techno, Trance and Psy go back to the same heritage and origin, the sound of BMT is a bridge that forges these three into a deep driving hypnotic sound, yet able to deliver a sting.

Prepare to dance away and treat your subconscious to the spell of Buddha's Mind Trick.
