Jayl Funk - Time to Roll

The celebration of the epic Paul Sitter album &ndash; Hip-Hop Delivery continues as a new group of the electronic funk scene finest joins forces for another collection of remixes. On vol. 2 we got a variety of remixers each doing their thing on the classic hip hop material from Paul Sitter and the long lineup of rappers and vocalists.
Starting off with the label owner BadboE giving his signature funky treatment to the timeless Global Chemistry featuring Craig G. Followed by discObeta bouncing up the epic B-Boy Impressions. Omegaman is back in the production chair and BBP were lucky enough to get him to do a classy nu funk remix of the Wild Things jam.
Pecoe gets to work on King of The Rock giving it his funky twist while Crash Party give that same track a big beat tempo switching remix. Dal Platinum get busy with a neat groovy remix of the Dr Syntax featuring It&rsquo;s On Like That while The Fritz takes a downtempo approach to the Go Move track featuring the awesome Andy Cooper.

This is the product of 2 days of a studio 'lock in' with me and the 'hunk of ghetto funk' Lebrosk down at my studio near Bournemouth. With the exception of a small pizza and dog petting break it was a fun couple of days sampling loads of old breaks, vocals and other elements. Coming out on Mon April 22nd on 'Tru Funk' (Polish Breaks label) as party of their 'Party Breaks 6' release. All went well, with the exception of me giving up my cosy double bed so the hunk of ghetto funk could get his beauty sleep, so expect some more old school flava from the new dynamic duo on the block real soon :)

Tobe Tronic hailing from south Germany nearby Stuttgart. Since 1998 Tobe Tronic is playing a mixture between hiphop,electronic,breaks and uplifting bassmusic. His sets are characterized by a funky touch and a large pinch of scratching. He performed of partys, festivals und clubnights across Germany. In 2004 he starts the beatmaking after buying a Roland MC 303 Groovebox, since then he have released tunes and remixes on multiple labels. Tobe Tronic is also a part oft he Dj Duo „BLOCKROCKIN DJ TEAM“ established in 2012.
