I have the great pleasure of introducing Héctor Sandoval aka Tensal aka K.T.S. is also half of prolific techno duo Exium as the new guest DJ for the Warehouse Manifesto mix series. 

He set up the Tensal label in 2014 - a label geared towards a modern and cyclic kind of techno that builds on classic synth lines with a variety of influences.

He has also released tracks on labels such as Arts, Soma, Mental Disorder, Mord, Warm Up Recordings, Pole Recordings, Modularz and Children of Tomorrow.

WINTI DANSI 

WINTI is a spiritual belief which lives under the six ndyuka tribes in Surinam. The dancers prepared their bodies with herbs and are therefore able to dance through the fire. While doing the WINTI DANSI, it is possible for the dancer to go into a trance. The WINTI DANSI is only performed on special occasions. 

This mix is recorded with a closing state of mind. Powerful rhythmic tracks which connects me to my KRAKTI (Powerful) culture. Searching for a bit more edge while keeping consistent rhythms. A bit faster than the other NDYUKA podcasts but never fast for the sake of being fast. 

Just like a WINTI DANSI i love it when people not just hear the music but really feel it. To a point where you could close your eyes and connect with the smallest details without any effort.

Unrelenting, laser-precise, brutalistic excellence from a much talented voice who’s just about to find her place in the sun, and deservedly so.

Punching in our series with a double hour workout spanning the breadth of his arsenal, from heavy-duty dubs to true-school modular destroyers, TWR72 has us surfing a tsunami of paced-up face-melters and zero-G acrobatics that won’t let loose on you until your batteries have run dry for good. Definitely more physically strenuous than your average routine, expect to be sweating buckets.

Solid Steel in association with Serato (17th June) Ivy Lab step up in Hour 2 following the release of their Fortuna EP on 20/20 LDN that features the vocal talents of Roses Gabor. Formed by producers Sabre, Stray and Halogenix, Ivy Lab are a North London collective that is part of a nascent movement of bass music refugees cross-pollinating UK sound system culture. We hear tracks from Alix Perez, Richie Brains, Sa Ra, Diemantle, Jon 1st and Max Richter. You can catch them at their launch party at Phonox, London on 20th June. They had this to say about their mix;
“Maybe a touch more energy than what we’re put together for previous Ivy lab studio mixes, and is perhaps closer to what you hear from us in our club sets these days ....but the genre pool is still  quintessentially 20/20 : bass­weight rowdy halftime, loose grooved lo­fi beats scene stuff, and jungle/footwork inspired 160 shit.”

Laughing matter. 

Starting out as a turntablist/dj with a predilection for noise, hum and dirty vinyl, Buddy Pitch advanced to be a sound engineer, sound designer, producer and even visual performance artist. His first EP, "Lang Sang" dropped february 2014, and he has been producing, twisting, scratching, fiddling, distorted and sequenced every day he could the last ten or so years. His music somewhat mirrors the ambience of his birthplace. A city by the fjords. In between jagged-edged mountains. Bass, pads and beats.
