After kicking off our Box Of Toys series in May we’re pleased to announce the second instalment in this sampler series with Box Of Toys Vol. 2💣

What a mix of grooves we have in store for you on this scorcher of a day, which is fitting because these tracks are nothing but heat🥵 
Kicking the sampler off we have @not-brothers delivering a bouncy anthem to set the vibe, before passing onto @shortcut who comes through with elegant synths and a driving bassline! 
Third we welcome @fixnch all the way from Gibraltar 🇬🇮 supplying a delightful vocal as one of the many elements that make ‘Speed Up’ a floor filler🔥 Coming in fourth we welcome back @toomasmusic after his quality ‘Strings Of Life’ edit released on Tentō earlier this year, and it’s no surprise he’s back with a bang using mystic synths and FX to bring some attitude to the dance floor💃
@markjohnsonaudio follows suit with a heavier groove that’s bound to have you stopping and waiting for nothing but the drop🔊 to round up this masterpiece we welcome back @sonysynth who you may remember from a couple of weeks ago due to his crazy edit of ‘Would You Mind’, and after hearing that it’s no wonder why we got him back for this project🙌

Not Brothers - Bop It (Original Mix)

Hotly tipped Manchester artist Elléot debuts on Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two label with ‘The Mask’ EP. A collaboration with Andrey Djackonda, and a remix from Archie Hamilton, seals this prodigious release.
With a strong set of releases already behind him, for labels such as Do Not Sleep, Nervous Records and Sustain, Elléot parades his musical chops for Ahmed’s label, which has delivered recent musical dispatches from the likes of Eldon, Jamie Jones & Richy Ahmed, Jansons and LoveHrtz.
A stong jazz-funk influence is stamped all over ‘The Mask’, as muted horns and an infectiously funky bass build the foundations of this four to the floor house bomb, topped off with a vibey vocal topline! Having built up an impressive career to date via a relentless DJ schedule, a residency at London’s popular FUSE parties and releases on his own Moscow and Moss Co. labels, Archie Hamilton turns in a superb remix of ‘The Mask’. Rolling beats sets the tone for his ‘Just A Phase’ Mix, as epic chord progressions, space-age acid tones, and a groove that Mood II Swing would be proud of, induce a first-class remix from the well-seasoned producer.
A collaboration with Andrey Djackonda (AVOTRE/Conceptual) also bears similar traits, as jazzy keys, a bustling bassline and brass licks bind together with a syrupy vocal for the uplifting garage house of ‘Don’t Let Me Go’, whilst ‘Follow Me’ concludes this assured EP with a jostling party track, resplendent with hand-claps, lively drums and another contagious and soulful vocal.

Do Not Sleep are happy to welcome PIV founder and man of the moment, Prunk, to the label with a engaging 2 track collaboration with the up & coming, Majoness, with their '333 EP'

Prunk is the founder behind the highly successful Dutch label PIV and is one of the driving forces behind the resurgence of the minimal deep scene which takes a lot of influence from the 90's house sound of old. His music has appeared on esteemed labels such as Defected, Djebali, Global Underground, Moulton Music and many more. He is regularly supported by artists such as Sam Divine, Franky Rizardo, Sidney Charles and more. For his debut release on Do Not Sleep he has teamed up with Majoness, who recently released a slick 8 track album of house and deep house via Distrokid. 

For their 333 EP on Do Not Sleep the duo have created an elegant and emotive 2 track EP which starts off with the smooth lead and title track, 333. With evolving pads, old school piano, and punchy house beats this is a classy affair with a fresh feel that will have crowds grooving all summer long.

On the flip side is 'Fazer' an up-tempo deep house track, with a hypnotic and journey-esq arrangement, preacher vocals and ever developing synths to get people locked into a groove and just dance the night away. This is a great 2 track EP of fresh uplifting deep house for the dance floor, and something that is perfect listening in the sunshine this summer.

Marking one year since the birth of Addition by Subtraction, we are delighted to bring you the third vinyl only release of many. Having sold out in less than 2 months, ABS002 established the cementation of the true ABS sound - deep and swingy dance-floor bombs for those with eclectic taste. 

ABS003 enlists the expertise of six artists from around the world who understand what it means to produce a sound that rocks dance floors and a sound that takes years of practise to blend and perfect. 

Akimbo young-guns @sucasadj open the release with a smooth-sailing UK-influenced tune, following stunning releases on @signatunerecords and Jordan Dessar’s newly imprinted @equalpeoplerecords. Having kicked off their own label, @beatniksldn, in 2018, these lads have a fresh take on the true UK sound that simultaneously encompasses the deeper side of minimal and house alike. 

Completing the A-side, a very special remix from non-other than @thewillersbrothers. Whilst the real-life Berlin-based brothers come from a musical background stemming from Hip Hop and Drum & Bass, a natural progression emerged as their love for house music kicked off their careers in 2011. Following suit, the boys managed to break into the London-club scene which then resulted in a string of releases on labels such as Beste Freunde, @ewaxberlin, @we_r_house, and @pivrecords. 

Flip the record over to experience some fresh faces and to discover the Bulgarian producer who crafted an acidic concoction destined to be heard by the late-night clubber. Whilst @konov previously specialised in other areas of house and techno, he seamlessly transitioned and reinvigorated his sound to generate a wave length of energetic frequencies. 

To close the release off, we’ve invited Italian DJ and Producer, @dj-akyra to deliver a raw and swingy housey cut to crunch needles and sound waves across the planet. The confluence of Akyra’s love and a passion for music erected his abilities at the ripe old age of 10, where he learned to play the guitar and piano after his grandfather. Having had a strong musical upbringing, such abilities gave him the opportunity to release on labels such as WE_R House, @downhill-music and @blindvisionrecords

ABS003 has been road tested by artists around the world and of course the ABS team in Sydney Australia.
