From Neil Young’s loose grunge to Bon Iver’s haunting choral sonics, Buffalo Wolf has taken on a feel and aesthetic that is closer to American heartland than Australian urban.

Buffalo Wolf emerged from the aural ashes of Sydney band The Wild Frontier, with bandmates Leo Spencer and Dave Mackie pooling their musical resources to lay down the tracks for Buffalo Wolf’s debut full-length album, Desolation Lady, which was released in early 2013.
