my final for spring audio class. i mixed it on headphones and don't understand mastering. made the homie https://soundcloud.com/audioarsonist play a real drum kit for the first time in his life and recorded about 10 minutes of that to edit literally five 2-bar loops out with beat detective, which took a vulgar amt of time and is the reason why the drum pattern changes like no more than three times over the course of the song and the cymbals sound a little sus lmao. the rest was steampunk-looking-ass stock pro tools "vintage" synths and guitar parts played through the equipment i've accumulated over about a year that's comfortably cost me as much as a reasonable used car would've, recorded through cheap SM-57-tier mics and panned hard left and right Just Like Bobby Owsinski Says You Gotta Do In, Uh, The Book™. backwards drum parts and feedback samples auto-panned so they sound like some space business are funny and cool because it's no later than 1968 in my brain.
