this paragraph comes from mia (aka himynameisshan), a person who ran a mashup artist group called "the mashpit" that was incredibly manipulative and gatekeepy regarding peoples mashups in general (they were also a major contributor to a buncha clone hero mashup stuff that got popular through acai and jasonparadise)

theres a few things ill admit i did because 1.) i was personally affected by their manipulation (there were several attempts to burn bridges with other artists i've been friends/in contact with, aswell as attempts to blacklist me from working with any mashpit artist) and 2.) i already viewed them as massively pretentious lmao

this includes the following:
- wrote a lukewarm review for one of mia's albums (they in turn took it in a completely different tone and saw it as complete disrespect, which is what led to all the blacklisting fuckshit)
- started writing and joking about david0mario sporadically (i started writing because i thought it'd be a way to deliver constructive critique from one musician to another. while ill admit the first 2 reviews weren't well-written by any means, their reactions are more than enough for me to not take them seriously)

she then went on to namedrop and lie about 7 other mashup artists in this callout post, including other mashpit members. sorry if this thumbnail came out as fucked up initially, im just petty lol. besides, this whole situation is full of smoke and a 35k follower army should be the last thing i wanna give a fuck about.
