Here is a song that I wrote for my darling pal and favourite ever guitarist Jenny Macro. She is sadly departing from the live band and I am naturally very sad. I wrote a little song that I was going to sing to her at her last ever gig, but because of the current crisis the gig never happened.  So instead I decided to record it properly in the comfort of seclusion which I am sharing to you now.

'Chrysalids' - written, performed, programmed and mixed by Ally Craig.

This track was inspired by the John Wyndham novel The Chrysalids (released in the US as Re-Birth). The novel is set in the aftermath of an apocalyptic nuclear event, and focuses on a group of teenagers who become outcasts when it is revealed they were born with telepathic abilities. The outcasts are the next step in humanity's progression; the fundamentalist, conservative society which shuns them is doomed to stagnation.
