Bradford-born producer NEWSHAM is quickly becoming a standout voice in the UKG and House underground. Formerly one half of Aderfia, he stepped into his solo journey in 2025 and immediately began shaping a sound that blends infectious grooves with forward-thinking club energy. His work has already earned support from some of the scene’s most influential names, including Interplanetary Criminal, Josh Baker, Silva Bumpa, DJ Seinfeld and Alisha.

A defining moment came when Interplanetary Criminal dropped NEWSHAM’s unreleased track “Gettin’ Mine” on his BBC Radio One Essential Mix—an early co-sign that put him firmly on the map. Since then, his high-energy sets have taken him across the UK, performing at iconic venues such as Mint Warehouse, 93 Feet East, Hangar 34, The Warehouse and Distrikt. His momentum continued with a European debut at Croatia’s legendary Hideout Festival, further solidifying his rising profile.

“Badabee” marks NEWSHAM’s debut release on HANAMI Sounds. Written in the wake of the Essential Mix support, he set out to create something with that same raw spark—fast-paced, energetic and engineered to rattle a club soundsystem. The result is a sharp, relentless cut packed with attitude and dancefloor pressure, signalling the start of an exciting new chapter with the label.
