Building the Station is a musical journal of the constant change and development of the many musical moods, emotions, and tastes of multi-medium artist Tyler Sammy. Born into music (his father Jerome is/was a lead guitarist in many funk, rock and gospel groups) Tyler shys away from no instrument or genre, as he is always excited for a new sound, timbre or groove. Combining his guitar and bass skills, with synth, drums, microphones and anything else that makes noise, he combines them using a digital process where most songs are usually the result of one long late night.

As of late, he has been producing most of his tracks you will find here by using a variety of apps and instruments on his iPhone 3G. Though he still has a weekly jam night with more traditional instruments.

Building the Station is in a developmental stage, and loves to collaborate, looking forward to the day when The Cup Station will be complete. A group of diverse artists who join to share, release and drink their souls and sounds. Cheers!
