This month we are thrilled to bring you this fabulous b2b from two legends - Dave Seaman and Steve Parry, to mark the 10th anniversary of their very highly regarded Selador label.

In the crowded electronic music climate, it’s hard maintaining a blueprint that helps you stand out from the crowd but in its ten year history, the Selador boys have managed to do just that. The label run by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry has quickly built a reputation as leading exponents of high grade acid house and techno.

The label’s name was inspired from a memorable passage from Richard Kelly’s 2001 cult classic movie ‘Donnie Darko’, where the most phonetically pleasing combination of words in the English language is mooted – Cellar Door. The assertion is that nothing else manages to make our vocabulary quite as beautiful. The idea of ‘beautiful sound’ through communication struck a chord with the duo, highlighting their own eternal quest for the perfect beat.

The label has released a diverse amount of music from a seriously talented ensemble of established names and exciting talent. For its 10th anniversary, names like Robert Babicz, Oliver Giacomotto, Robert Owens, Hernan Cattaneo, Jamie Stevens, Quivver and 3_D DJs are among the people who’ve taken on the task of the ever developing Selador sound.

Making their Selador Sessions debut, its legendary production outfit Circulation.

After recently remixing Floormagnet - Laura, and then straight on to making a collaboration  with Zoo Brazil entitled 'Six Days' released now as part of the Selador Decade EP's, its fair to say that Circulation are firmly part of the Selador family.

With its location right in the city center, reasonably priced drinks and good quality sound system, our friendly houseboat-turned-club would be one of the „not to be missed" places in Prague by its own (come on, who doesn't love partying on a boat?!). Bukanyr, however, offers much more than that. Our parties are run by the top Prague and international DJs who cherrish their residency and musical freedom our club offers. We got summer terrace on the upper deck with all-day bar, barbeque and foosball tables. We screen movies and introduce live band shows. Above all, we are one of the few places where you can still experience that legendary Prague vibe that has been drawing people from all around the world to the city since the early 90's.
