Laut & Luise's second poodle. The Shoot The Sun EP marks the long overdue return of Manchesters third dimensional space head Norken. Collaborating with Deer, a powerful Brujo from Weimar he met while hanging out in a space trailer during his recent long travels, he managed to create an ethereal delight. These techno sorcerers have conjured an album worthy of its title Micro Don Juan. We've chosen two lush trans-dimensional techno tracks with a deep housey feel, namely Shoot The Sun and Remember That Feeling, and asked Deer's local buddy DWIG (Die Wiese Im Garten) and our charming Dürerstuben for remixes to complete the collection to an essential listening for the third ear. Yes, well done boys!

The Cheapers are Berlin DJs Ruede Hagelstein and Franzen Texas. Both are resident DJs at Watergate Club, and call Upon You Records their home label. Our friends’ contribution to the Bar25 discography has been cooking for a long time, and now, finally, is ready to meet the light of the musical world. The title track, “Too Late”, is a cooperation with Berlin DJane and singer Meggy, who has already seen success this year with Re.You & Rampa. The Original is a soulful deep house track that’s been freshened up with a tech-housy remix by Smash TV. Vinyl Only, the Cheapers have also added a particularly special track which features some dark sampling that the two artists refer to as gothic house.

Our favourite west coast space rock band "Woolfy vs. Projections", or "the Hall and Oates of the dance world" (XLR8R) are back for good. "Set Me Loose" is the first single from their 2012 album "The Return Of Love" , which with its proper songwriting, dreamy atmosphere and psychedelic character became an essential listening delight for all kind of Balearic types over the past summer. "Set Me Loose" is the perfect example for W vs. P unique blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation and the natural haziness that lives in their music. This makes it a perfect match for Swiss legend Lexx (you have to check out his contribution to the ' originals ' series on Claremont 56), who offers the first remix here. Lexx does what Lexx does best adding a good portion of Excotica, tropical drumming and a certain dubbyness to the original making it a winner on the late night floor. 

The Drifter, who had a busy year with setting up his own label Maeve, which he runs with his lads Mano Le Tough and Baikal and with releasing his debut ep on Permanent Vacation in late 2012, comes correct with a hypno house version of "Set Me Loose". He leaves out most of the original's Balearic feeling and adds a punchy kick and an acidy bassline to get it in shape for the more housy floors. 

Last but not least in this delicate triumvirate of remixes is El_Txef_A from Bilbao, Spain. Aitor Etxebarria turned quite some heads with his last year's debut album "slow dancing in a burning room" and the mixture of contemporary club music and classic pop elements. He stays close to the original, stripping it down to the basic elements of the groove and the vocals before half way through of the remix an arpeggiated synth appears and introduces the 4/4 bass drum for the second half.
