FFXIV Lo-Fi Medley

City pop inspired cover of KK House from Animal Crossing. Had a lot of fun recording the guitar tracks on this one!

KK House (Animal Crossing Cover)

Made this one using a recording of the rain outside my window I'd recorded a while ago. Wanted to do something with a slightly moody  but chill feel like drinking a glass of cheap whisky after a bad day.

Rain Again

Wrote this one starting out as a song with lyrics but couldn't think of a good vocal melody, so I instead had a look at the vocal samples in the sample library for logic and noticed they had a moon landing one which fit with the theme I was originally going for. Really enjoyed messing around with different synth sounds for this one.

Moon

I felt like doing a song with a different arrangement style/instrumentation to usual so decided to go with some classical instruments. Had a ton of fun making this one!

Woodland Creatures

I had a lot of fun messing around with different plugins in logic with this one, especially the Step FX plugin. Definitely went a bit overboard with the effects here!

Bounce

Thought it would be fun to write some fake video game music. I've done a few tracks which I put out as an EP on bandcamp. I imagined this to be the music that would play during the final boss fight so uses a lot of the elements from the other tracks I wrote. Snow

Wanted to make a song with a nice upbeat and optimistic mood. Gave me the feeling of being in a new city and exploring and finding cool places. Was really refreshing to make after having a bit of a creative block for a while!

Scramble

Felt like making nice simple lo-fi beat. This one makes me think of the first coffee of the day. Hope you enjoy :)

Had a really nice relaxing little jam on guitar/bass and came out with this track. Reminded me of seeing home on that last bus ride at the end of the week.
