Founder of Northern club night Mist, Will Berridge already has plenty of house and techno knowledge under his belt, but he proved his production acumen when he released on Sweden's Local Talk imprint earlier in the year.

With velvety synths underpinned by a chunky 4/4 stomp, the track — which glides effortlessly into sticky, analogue territory — is a fresh glance back at NY deep house circa 2001, or the Chicago cuts of a producer like Gemini. 

'Stacking Options' is one of five tracks on Berridge's forthcoming 'Make a Move' EP, released on 28th October on Save You.

Sky Float Sun - what does it mean? It explains what flying is like, the experience of floating on the air with just you and the clouds and the sun outside the airplane window. The album is a collection of songs we worked on in multiple studios in Portland, Oregon over a four-year period. Each song has a different vibe and this is a result of not working in just one studio. 
After visiting places like Mexico, Belgium, Germany, Turkey and Hawaii, the experiences we had in each place helped inspire what is on the album. The memories of each place are replaced with sounds that will help keep those moments forever! We had amazing times meeting new people, trying new foods and being exposed to art and history.
There are songs that also represent where we call home, Portland. We wanted to make music for our fans that showed a different side ourselves. We both did a lot of growing up in the time from the last album, and this is what makes up the new album. Changes in environment and surroundings always bring new music and sounds and this is something we always look forward to. 
Thank you for listening to our album, enjoy the sounds and close your eyes when you listen to it with headphones. We would greatly appreciate it, we want to you visualize our art and hear every sound.

Irish talent Jay FM adds another chapter to his growing musical contribution to our stable, courtesy of a glorious deep house EP. His intricate offerings always reach great emotional depths. His latest, the "Timeless" EP, is no exception, as it offers a textured backdrop to a pensive spring walk. 

The gush of a gong signals the beginning of "Timeless" and is soon followed by a pumping bass. Delicate percussive hits join the fray, just as a breakdown sheds these layers, offering a few fleeting moments of a truly blissful soundscape. The returning bass offers an energetic groove that is balanced by sweeping chords and soft vocals, allowing us to lay back and experience the lush and romantic composition unfold. 

In "Come," airy vocals swirl behind the main melodic motifs of the track, which includes an impressionistic piano score; the vocals retain the subtlety of a deep exhale, carrying a sweeping array of emotions as they gently repeat "come." As the song progresses, the piano melodies reverberate with the sensual coolness of an evening breeze. Gently pulsating percussion emulates the consistent beat of a heart, giving life to this timeless composition.

• About the track... really not sure what to say, it has quite the feels though. On some days it brought out sadness, and on other days pure joy. It definitely gave me some introspective moments, and some euphoric ones too. I hope it takes you on your own unique journey. 

•  Admittedly, the past few months haven't been the easiest for majority of the world, with everything going on - but I hope things settle down soon, wishing you peace and love.
