Bulletproof Inc. is a rock band based in Bangalore. It was formed on 8th October 2013 by 5 friends, some of us having played music with each other in different sets of bands before this.

Bulletproof Inc. embodies the band members’ pursuit for high energy, no nonsense, in your face explosion of rock music. The name signifies our drive to keep at our pursuit no matter what barriers, walls, speed bumps or bullets come our way!! 

Each band member brings in their individual style and influence to putting together the music as one punch driven sound. We call our genre "Experimental Rock". It’s a combination of influences from classic, alternative and hard rock!!

We’re in the process of releasing a kick ass album, that’s headed your way in a couple of months! All you rockers out there, watch out for a fresh new sound with high tempo thumping beats, heavy guitar riffs and super sweet vocal harmonies!!

Band Members:

On lead vocals, Vikshut Mundkur:  Drawing strong influences from Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Inxs, Aerosmith and Sting, Vik is the front man of the band. His strong vocals fit in really well. With an experience of being a lead vocalist for over 8 years, he’s fronted bands like Pushing Tin, Facing the Sun and 909 WOOZ. His crazy passion for music led him to take a sabbatical from his job and get into music full time! In the past, he has worked with NGOs and social enterprises on environmental issues and renewable energy solutions for the poor.

On the bass, Ashley Joseph: He loves the blues and believes in making simple and listener friendly music. Whitesnake, Queen, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin are few of his favourite bands. He has jammed with bands such as Pushing Tin, Purple Migraine, Local Vocals, Always Blue and New Wine Skins. Keeping the music and humour alive in the band is what this bassman does best!! Watch out for those rock solid grooves coming your way and don’t forget to share a leg or two ;). Ash also runs a school with over 250 students studying different instruments like the guitar, keys, piano, violin, drums/percussions and voice.

On the drums, Moses Naveen Kumar: Moses took to drumming after a few failed attempts to part the Red Sea and has taken it quite seriously since then!! Having played for bands like Catalyst and Crossfire, he cites Mike Portnoy and bands like "Nightwish" as a big influence on his drumming style, and while he may not have a million Hebrews following him he does a pretty good job giving the band some strong, groovy drumming to build on. He’s also a proficient keyboardist and vocalist.

On Guitars – Mark Escottee - A seasoned musician, Mark has been around in the local music scene for quite a while. He draws his influences from some of the great guitar legends/bands of all time, like Dimebag Darrel, Randy Rhodes, Freddie Mercury, Bob Hartman, Petra, Lincoln Brewster, Ozzy, Whitesnake, Queen, Brush Arbor and Mark Knopfler to name a few. He is a versatile guitarist (and keyboardist and drummer!!) who can effortlessly switch from playing a shredding metal solo to a Chet Atkins styled Chicken picking riff. He’s played the keys with Fahrenheit and guitars with Pushing Tin, Solder, Transit Point, The Mike Kerr Project, Polly wants a cracker, Rodeos, The Astras, plus lot of solo gigs with different musicians.

On Guitars again – Bradley Cotter - Brad is what you'd get if you took a guitarist hugely inspired by Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King and put him in a rock band!! Yes, Brad adds his bluesy influences in his solos accompanied by his strong strumming and guitar harmonies. A retro man to the core Brad still adapts to any kind of genre and plays his stuff adding his signature Slash undertones. He also is strongly inspired by Guitar legends/Bands citing Vince Gill, Albert Lee, Queen, G ‘N’ R, Mr. Big, Aerosmith, Extreme, The Beatles as his major influences.
He’s played with Rewind and Polly wants a cracker and done solo gigs with different musicians/ Bands like Rodeos and The Astras.
