,,I’m new to the DJ-world and was so lucky to be introduced to it by Femme Bass Mafia last summer. For me this meant being surrounded by inspiring and warm hearted FLINTAs. Even though our mentorship program is over, we constantly support each other, share and discover music together. The empowerment I experienced there is so beautiful (and having very little club experience) that it mostly shieled me from being in touch with gender inequalities. 

Nevertheless I sometimes have the impression that club culture and the electronic music scene has an odd selfunderstanding of being avantgarde and/or being a space of solidarity and freedom. Looking a little bit closer it doesn’t take long to realize that there’s a massive lack of awareness for several forms of discrimination taking place. I hope with a new generation of DJs the foundation of the industry will be shaken, so that club culture becomes a safer and more inclusive space for everyone.''

Toni Pfad is a Berlin based DJ originally from the depths of Bavaria where she was mainly involved in classical music during her youth. She had first intense contact with electronic music and various techno collectives during her years living in the heart of germany, Thuringia, a place with a distinct techno scene. For 5 years she has been a member and resident of the Jena based collective biotobt which was founded over 12 years ago out of friends and since then has been constantly organizing mainly open air raves as well as indoor parties and participates in various festivals. Over the years she played a number of gigs at events and festivals which led to the constant development and redefinement of her genre-fluid sound with influences from Electro, Breaks, Prog. House, Techno and Trance. 

In this mix she lets harmonies and rhythms flow into each other, creating euphoric but also melancholic moments.

A mix and event series focused on showcasing the spicy mix of ghetto house, electro & everything in between.

 After years of working in the club scene the 25 year old from Hessen, Germany started DJing just over a year ago and played her first gigs at clubs and festivals real quick back then. Influenced by music of all different genres and decades she loves bringing a variety of styles together in her mixes - fast, groovy, bouncy, electric, always containing catchy breaks and spicy vocals. Mostly somewhere around 140-147bpm.
