wouldn't surprise me to hear something like this in a stranger things episode, very anticipating atmosphere! some subs would be great.

John Carpenter vibe right off the bet! ☺ ☺ ☺ ...brings back nice memories.

Well, at this point it becomes quite clear that this one won't explode... pity, actually. But a really promising opening. Be brave and try attacking drums, this thing could've/would've rocked!

Agree with most commenters that the sounds are wonderful, though the composition is a bit static. looking forward to your next submission!

I hear chord progression is there, I think it would be cool to make bass line to follow it, bass feels too static in my taste. Besides of that, nice track!

Great sounds, just missing some percussion for me..

The track has some nice enough sounds to it, but repetitiveness is killing it, IMO. A very monotonous bass sequence like this really does some more variation for balance. That does not necesarilly need to involve drums, btw.

I have to agree with the others.... waiting for something to happen and it just kind of loops around.  Good sounds though and effective chord progression.

We are beyond thrilled to let you discover some "back in the day" tracks from one of our favorite producers, Richard Wilson aka Beatwife.

After a few Jungle orientated releases as Rognvald (with our beloved friends at Love Love Records), he gives us some of his old Braindance tracks that have never been released before.
Some are almost twenty years old, but the funky basslines and intricate grooves are still fresh.

With a perfect balance between raw synthesizer sounds and clean beats it would have been sad to leave those tunes to die on a hard drive, so here they are, available to you.

Blood Cult

A quick jam using 2 instances of TAL Baseline 101 (a monophonic bass track, and polyphonic pads). The TAL synth is being controlled by a Roland SH-01a, which works really nicely as a controller.

ValhallaSupermassive used for reverb and 1/8. echo. FreqEcho used for phasing. ValhallaDelay used on the mix bus to add some saturation and wobble.

Recorded "live" (no overdubs)with Reaper 64.
Done with Nord Wave 2 and Akai Force using clips of LTD EC-256 guitar + Roland JD-Xi (vocal effects) plus EMU SP-12 drum samples.
