Kuwaq Yaku is a tribal track merging influences from old school dub, and techno, between the two phases. It's a track I've been sitting on for quite a while and has had 3 different names leading up to this release 🤣

'Kuwaq Yaku' is a location from a Tomb Raider playthrough I loved, and I feel the Mayan areas in the location harnessed the tribal feel of the track.

With glowsticks like claws and fur that shimmers neon pink under UV, she prowls the decks, scratching time itself into 160 BPM riddims. Some say she was raised by sound systems, others that she escaped from an ancient Egyptian rave temple. Her mission is simple: keep the bass rolling, keep the people skanking, and never let the party sleep.

When you hear the hiss of vinyl and the faint “miau” in the reverb tail, know that she’s nearby, tail flicking, eyes glowing, waiting for the drop.
