BUNK3R R3CORDS Releases 2023

New year, new EP from homeboy "Hugo Rienzi" and this time he delivers a more eclectic style of Techno on this 3-track EP. He really explores every side of the Techno spectrum and he hits it every time.

Bio:
Hugo Rienzi (aka Ken Young or Squadrum or Atmozz), from Bruges (Belgium), started mixing electronic music at 16 years old. His big influence has always been Dave Clarke. At 18 years old he bought his first professional mixing table and started to learn how to mix by himself, using only vinyl. Movies on YouTube of Dave Clarke did also help him improving his technical skills which gave him more personality and confidence after the decks. 

In 2004 Hugo moved out to Spain and started to spin more commercial House and Techno vibes because only at several clubs in Spain they played real Techno music so he had to adapt himself to his public. 

In 2008 he started to spin in Alicante, in a small club called "La Ley". He there got his first lessons in how to work proper with Serato and Traktor. Antonio Chou, ex-resident of "Revival club Torre Vieja", was his teacher from then on. In 2008 Hugo became resident of another club called "Comix". With the money he earned by mixing he bought himself an iMac to use Ableton controlled by an APC40 and a Launchpad and started to produce Minimal and Techno music. When crisis was at his worst in Spain, he decided to come back to Belgium and started to spin directly at small events. 

Short after his comeback Hugo won his first mixing competition on "Push It Young Talents" Tour which led him directly to one of the biggest clubs in Belgium those days, called "Café d'Anvers". He also played on events like "Area 51" and "Liberty White".

Bio:
Born and raised in Zagreb (Croatia) and he started to play music at an early age. Mat was a resident at Fnoob for some time and released a couple of EPs on various record labels as well as many remixes. Mat moved to Germany in 2017 and since then he produced an album as well as many other tracks, EPs and remixes.

Being an IT engineer, he loves everything that's technical and "technology-based", so he's into game design and programming as well as making music for it.

With extensive experience for years, EFTEE is the most electronic project of this DJ and producer born and raised in Barcelona, who explores aspects of electronic music in its darkest and "tech" side and whose productions combine the sound of the beginning of the Techno era with the latest trends. 

His sessions have led him to share line-up with artists like Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Ben Sims, Klangkuenstler, Marco Faraone among others, and to participate in festivals such as Sonar (Barcelona) and also playing in clubs as Florida 135, Amnesia Ibiza and Pacha Barcelona to name a few.

Bio:
Marco Paolo Pierucci, aka Marco Vortex, is a well-known Dj and producer for almost thirty years. He imposed his style into the best European clubs, later becoming a worldwide fame artist in the Techno scene. His list of "played at" is almost endless...

MaVor/Dj Vortex's discography is too big to be listed, as well as the list of labels, its aliases, side projects and collaborations; nevertheless he has never forgotten his first love, the radio, and that's why he continues to collaborate with many radio stations all over the world.

Bio:
Luso aka Wall Rider is an artist formed in Barcelona who began his musical career in 1999 producing instrumental bases as a Hiphop beatmaker. Later he was part of two groups as a singer, both Nu metal. Later on, he participated as an event organizer at electronic music parties.

It was in 2005 when he began to produce and explore different musical genres within the alternative electronics music and the free party movement. Styles such as Jungle, Hardcore, Hardtek and D&B permeated his own style to nowadays.

His productions as a sound designer led him to collaborate with VPM, a company dedicated to audiovisual art, who won the projection mapping contest of the Visualia festival (Croatia). Wall Rider continues with his permanent musical exploration offering powerful atmospheric sounds and forceful beats that define the personality of his production.

is a mix between Techno and Afterclub sounds that will remind you of those real glory days.

Bio:
Started DJ-ing in 1994 as he bought his first set of second hand turntables. Played at venues and clubs in the end of the 90s and the early years of the new millenium... Started producing in 2000 but never released a track.

In the year 2003 his life changed drastically and music was set aside but luckily he kept most of his vinyl. Of course living without music turned out to be impossible and after a break of more than 10(!) years he started producing again under alter egos "Peter Wok" and "Woktrax". Mostly Techno and Acid but also some more tranquil tracks.

DaDrux was born in Wałbrzych (Poland) where he also lives at the moment. He was the organizer and co-organizer of electronic music events in his city several times. After some time, he joined the Synthetic Sequence collective where he played and co-created events with the whole crew. After a long break with music, he returns back as a producer and has a lot of tracks that will blow your ears.

For the last release of 2023 we present you a well-known artist on our label with his new alias "Mwamwa". Under this alter ego, he expresses himself with music that comes from his deepest feelings, emotions and thoughts. This 3-track EP will lead you to the darkest place of one's soul.

Bio:
Mwamwa is self-discovery through music creation, a laboratory of unpredictable sound experimentation where complex patterns, generative synthesis techniques and asymmetrical structures would be present, as well as compositional resources, counterpoint and irregular time signatures; looking to achieve an ethereal style with Techno, Jungle and IDM predominance, but also exploring many other possibilities.

It is a space of resistance to everyday's vicissitudes and homologous hegemonic currents, a space of rebellion against predefined orders. It is the search for answers to anxious questions and the space for the necessary catharsis that avoids losing our sanity; it is a walk-through the innermost recesses of our thoughts and emotions: those that were oppressed and denied by the prevailing wave of positivity that society expects from us, those that we are not allowed to express outside the couch.
It is a crossing point between philosophy, art and science, which creates small moments of maximized reality that take us beyond the limits of our imagination. It’s a political statement for freedom.
