Nikolaj Jakobsen aka Sugar is one of the founders behind the infamous Fast Forward parties and the Fast Forward management, who is on the forefront of danish techno. Besides from hosting parties and being manager, Nikolaj is also a well respected producer and DJ.

This is a super well played mix containing a lot of typical Sugar tracks, both old and new danish productions, perfect to kickstart the weekend.

It’s certainly no easy act juggling such a diverse range of musical projects, but Blazej Malinowski seems to carry it all off quite effortlessly. Aside from running his own ‘Why So Silent’ live performance venture and co-founding renowned events and radio collective ‘Funfte Strasse’, the Berlin-based artist is also a viciously sharp producer and DJ.

With releases on Semantica, The Gods Planet, and Phorma he showcases a sound that leans into the cinematic, moody verge of techno. This immersive approach has been carried through into his event series and solo performances. Switching between both live PA’s and DJ sets on his bookings, Blazej is an artist with depth and a fearlessness.

He has taken the time to record this exclusive mix for our DETECT series.
